Acclaimed neo-Western drama Yellowstone is gradually approaching its conclusion, with the Season 5 finale set to release on November 10, 2024. The show follows the escapades of the Dutton family, as they attempt to manage the biggest ranch in the U.S. while navigating through the hurdles of life. In the wake of Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2’s premiere, actor Luke Grimes has come out to tease its ending.
Luke Grimes says Yellowstone Season 5’s finale will have a ‘beautiful ending’
As per Luke Grimes, who portrays Kayce Dutton in Yellowstone, the Season 5 finale will see all the pivotal characters receive a fitting conclusion to their arcs.
While talking to Entertainment Weekly, the American Sniper star praised writer Taylor Sheridan for providing a perfect ending to the show. “I read the last episode the day before we started filming. I couldn’t be happier. Grimes added, “I think it’s a perfect ending for the show for every character. It’s just a testament to what a good writer Taylor is, and it’s a very, very profound, beautiful ending. I can’t wait to sit down and watch it one day.”
In the conversation, Luke Grimes also conveyed vague details regarding how his character’s relationship with Kelly Reily’s Beth will progress in the Yellowstone Season 5 finale. “You do get to see a lot more interaction between Kayce and Beth,” the actor revealed.
Additionally, Grimes spared time to address the prolonged delay in the release of the Yellowstone Season 5 finale. “Some of them are mad as hell that we’ve taken so long, but we’re like, ‘It’s not our fault! We wanted to go to work, the actor explained. “I’ve been itching to get back to the show and I’m so glad it finally worked out and we got to finish strong.”
A major reason behind the postponement of the show’s final part was lead actor Kevin Costner unexpectedly exiting the show. At the time of writing, there is no possibility for the Waterworld actor’s return to the setup.
