Some critics are suggesting that the film may not be exclusive to Disney+ yet. They are thinking that there is an opportunity for it to go to Netflix or another streaming service. This would be difficult to negotiate, however, because nearly all other Marvel properties are also on Disney+. Shang Chi is likely to be a Disney+ exclusive, but due to its popularity, other streaming services will certainly try to secure the rights to the film. Marvel has diversified a little by showcasing some of its content on Netflix, so the idea could happen, it’s just with a project this highly anticipated it would seem that they would more likely show it on Disney+.
