Welcome back to thisn week’s edition of the most read books of the Week on Goodreads. We are more than halfway through Septemner and this list looks very different than it did in August. Keep reading to see what books made this week’s list!
The Most Read Books of the Week
We have a new book on top of this week’s list that ends of the week of September 15. Wild Eyes by Elsie Silver is the most read book this week and that is impressive considering it was released on September 3rd. It will be interesting to see where this book ends up in the coming weeks on this list.
In second place is The Women by Kristin Hannah and it is honestly impressive how well this book is doing more than half a year after it was released. Right behi nd it as usual is Funny Story by Emily Henry who just can’t seem to overcome the The Women.
There are some new books to make this list such as The Wedding People by Alison Espach,The Pumpkin Spice Café by Laurie Gilmore, and Daydream by Hannah Grace. Also, for the first time since we started posting these weekly lists, a male author has finally made an appearance. All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker comes in at 17, an impressive feat.
It Ends With Us falls all the way down to number 18 and now that the movie has come and gone, this book should be out of the top 20 in the coming weeks. There are tons of new releases and I don’t think readers will keep reading It Ends With Us as they did for the past two months.
