Nothing says “happy holidays” quite like the frenetic, mad cap, and often irreverent attack of Atlanta-based mathcore outfit The Callous Daoboys. Knowing the potential they have to spread that holiday cheer to as many people as possible, they announced that they’ll be hosting a special show this December in down in A-Town.
At this show, which will take place on December 7 at The Masquerade — Altar, The Callous Daoboys will play the entirety of their debut album Die On Mars, as well as their latest EP God Smiles Upon The Callous Daoboys. And they’ll do that all after opening acts Bummer Hill, Circuit Circuit, /Hospitality/, and Abandcalledlove warm up the crowd.
The Callous Daoboys have been working on new material in recent weeks, so who knows? Maybe they’ll break out a new song or two at the show. They didn’t say they would, but hope springs eternal and all that.
Tickets will go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m. local time, so be sure to be ready to cop yours. This will be a ho-ho-holiday show you won’t want to miss.
Oh, and God may smile on The Callous Daoboys, but given the distinct lack of meaningful baseball being played in Atlanta due to weather, they may want to have a stern talking to the man upstairs. Or at least MLB commissioner Rob Manfred because if my Mets get fucked because of this, I’m going to be one very pissed off MetalSucks editor… There, I’m done getting that bitchfest off my chest…
