In the year 2014 I was 33 and deep in NextGen Pastoring work. Father of 3 young kids and slightly less immersed in Christian music than I would become a few years later. I’m sure I was listening to plenty of music but I recall spending most of my time listening to my Top 3 and select CCM radio songs. Of my Top 10, I came to #8 and #4 much later but I’m high on them now.
All in all, I’d say it wasn’t a hugely important year for albums outside of my Top 3 which I still return to often. Overall I’d grade the year as a B or a solid 4 Star. What about you, was 2014 an important year for you music wise? What albums/songs helped get you through? Let me know!
