Taylor Swift returned to the big stage for the first time since having to cancel her Vienna shows last week due to a terror threat.
As The Blast reported on August 7, two men were arrested in connection with the planned attack, with a third suspect being taken into custody the next day. One of the arrested men, a 19-year-old, had allegedly pledged allegiance to ISIS.
August 15’s concert was also Taylor Swift’s first return to the UK following a tragic attack in Southport last month, where three children lost their lives at a Swift-themed dance class.

Officials at a news conference described the 19-year-old as “clearly radicalized in the direction of the Islamic State (IS)” and noted that “large concerts” are “often a target of Islamist attacks.”

Sheeran’s surprise appearance during the acoustic segment had the crowd of 92,000 going wild. The setlist for these acoustic moments is always a surprise until the big reveal.
