SPIN Records has released its first track in the form of Robot Sunrise’s “London Public WiFi (Robbie Rivera Remix),” which marks the second collaboration between the two dance music artists this year. SPIN Records is a partnership with Greater Than Distribution and their global distribution partner Virgin Music Group, which is overseen by Randy Jackson and Paula Moore.
“Robot Sunrise is making waves in the culture of melodic techno music. From the preview performance we saw at SXSW 2024 cementing his place as one to watch, to now becoming the first release on SPIN Records, Greater Than is excited to rise to the occasion and help set the stage for Robot Sunrise’s bright future,” say Jackson and Moore.

Robot Sunrise is the solo project of producer, multi-instrumentalist and SPIN Creative Director Danny Klein, who previously released music through Astralwerks as part of the duo Dreamfreak. “London Public WiFi” was written on a flight from Los Angeles to London, during which “the monotone drone of the engines and electronics filling the cabin reminded me of the relentless tech, data and machinery that are pushing at us 24/7, dominating our lives,” he says. “This track represents a call to break free from unwanted energies. Be relentless in creating a world you can thrive in and never give up on your dream. With the remix, Robbie Rivera took this track to such an incredible place. I truly hope it inspires people.”
In related news, Robot Sunrise has signed with True Management, a new division of Southern California dance music company True Entertainment Events, the parent company of underground dance music festival purveyors, Off the Grid. Catch Robot Sunrise during upcoming performances on Sept. 27 in Austin (Off the Grid Campout Austin), Oct. 11 in Apple Valley, Ca. (Off the Grid Campout), and Nov. 9 in Los Angeles (The Robot Sunrise Experience).
