Apple TV+ has released the official Slow Horses Season 4 trailer for the upcoming return of the hit spy thriller, teasing what’s next for Oscar winner Gary Oldman‘s titular spy team.
“The series is a darkly humorous espionage drama that follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 known un-affectionately as Slough House,” reads the show’s newest logline. “Season 4 opens with a bombing that detonates personal secrets, rocking the already unstable foundations of Slough House.

When is the Slow Horses Season 4 release date?
Slow Horses Season 4 is scheduled to debut on Wednesday, September 4, with the first episode. It will then be followed by one new episode weekly, every Wednesday through October 9, on Apple TV+. The series also stars Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan, and Academy Award-nominee Jonathan Pryce, along with new Season 4 cast members Hugo Weaving, Joanna Scanlan, IFTA winner Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke, and James Callis.
It hails from writer and executive producer Will Smith (Veep), with Saul Metzstein directing. Executive producers are Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Douglas Urbanski, Gail Mutrux, Jane Robertson, and Graham Yost. It is a production by See-Saw Films. Ahead of Season 4, the show had already secured a Season 5 renewal from Apple, making it one of the streamer’s longest-running shows.
