See Who’s Starring in Canadian Production of Titanìque Musical
The irreverent send-up of the blockbuster film Titanic continues Off-Broadway at the Daryl Roth Theatre.
The hit Off-Broadway musical Titanìque, the irreverent send-up of the blockbuster film Titanic,
is getting ready to take Canada by storm.
The 2023 Lortel Award-winning Best
Musical, which is driven by the songs of pop icon and Canada native Céline Dion, will debut in Montreal at the Segal Centre for Performing Arts October
27–November 24, followed by an engagement at Toronto’s CAA Theatre
December 5, 2024–January 12, 2025.
As previously reported, this all-Canadian production will
feature Québec star Véronique Claveau as Céline Dion. Claveau will be joined by the newly announced Mariah Campos as Rose, Seth Zosky as Jack, Michael Torontow as Cal, Constant Bernard as Ruth, Mike Melino as Victor Garber, Erica Peck as the Unsinkable Molly Brown, and Christopher Ning as the Seaman and the Iceberg. Céline’s background vocalists will include André Anthony, Queenie, and Rose Messenger with standbys Kaylee Harwood, Tess Benger, and David Comeau.
Parodying the Oscar-winning film Titanic, CĂ©line Dion
commandeers a tour at the Titanic Museum and delivers her version of
what really went down between Jack and Rose with hits by the iconic
singer, including “My Heart Will Go On,” “All By Myself,” and “To Love
You More.”
Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli co-wrote the musical with production director Tye Blue.
Off-Broadway’s Titanìque
features music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by
Nicholas Connell, choreography by Ellenore Scott, scenic design by
Gabriel Hainer Evansohn and Grace Lauchbacher for Iron Bloom Creative
Production, costume design by Alejo Vietti, lighting design by Paige
Seber, sound design by Lawrence Schober, wig design by Tommy Kurzman,
and prop design by Eric Reynolds. Casting is by The Telsey Office’s
Rachel Hoffman, Henry Russell Bergstein, and Andrew Fern. The work transferred from the Asylum Theatre to the Daryl Roth, where it is currently scheduled to run through January 12, 2025.
