Netflix is on a mission to diversify the types of film and TV programs offered by the service. Recently, the company has been releasing new Turkish original projects. Private Lesson is the latest project to be added to the list. In preparation for its December 16 launch, Netflix has released a new trailer for the film. The production aims to examine “love, career, relationships, and the complexity of juggling all of them.”
The story centers on Azra (Bensu Soral) who can help coach her students and associates with any issues they may be having in life. Another character finds out about her ability to give expert advise and seeks her assistance with balancing life and love. Azra reluctantly decides to be her tutor, and while she is helping, she finds herself in a new romantic situation.
Private Lesson is directed by Kivanc Baruonu. The screenplay was written by Murat Disli and Yasemin Erturan. In addition to Soral and Kandemir the cast includes Halit Ozgur Sari, Rami Narin, Hatice Aslan, Hulya Gulsen Irmak, Murat Karasu, Elif Ceren Balikci, Deniz Altan and Esengul Yilmaz.
