Deafhound – “Tummy”
We love the shoe gaze forward sound of Portland act Deafhound. Sonically, it will remind listeners of the creative wall of sound created in the post grunge era. Vocally, it is pushed further behind this wall but ads a biting emotion that will stay with listeners long after the track ends. The pace is intentional, building and slowing as it seems fit. Deafhound are a band to watch as they build intricate and compelling art that is nothing short of beautiful.
