Who’s involved in the Outlander final season?
Outlander spans the genres of romance, science-fiction, history and adventure in one epic tale. It follows the story of combat nurse Claire Randall from 1945, who gets mysteriously swept back in time to 1743 Scotland. The series stars Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton, Richard Rankin, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Duncan Lacroix, David Berry, César Domboy, Lauren Lyle, Colin McFarlane, Caitlin O’Ryan, and more. It is executive produced by Ronald D. Moore, Maril Davis, Matthew B. Roberts, Toni Graphia, Andy Harries, and Jim Kohlberg.Â
Following the conclusion of Outlander, it will be followed a spin-off prequel series titled, Outlander: Blood of My Blood. It revolves around the two parallel love stories of Claire Randall and Jamie Fraser’s parents, which will take place into two different time periods: during the early 18th century Scottish Highlands, and during World War II in England. The prequel will be led by Harriet Slater and Jamie Roy as Jamie’s parents, Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser, along Hermione Corfield and Jeremy Irvine as Claire’s parents Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp.
