Three years after releasing their incredible debut album, Mercurial World, Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin of Magdalena Bay are about to unveil their sophomore effort, a concept album based around a character named True. So far, we’ve heard the previously released singles “Death & Romance,” “Image,” and “Tunnel Vision.”
Before sharing Imaginary Disk with the world on Friday, they unveiled a new video today for new single “That’s My Floor.” In this streaming era, where videos are often overlooked in promo rollouts, the duo reminds us that their art is not only musical but multimedia. Since their beginnings in 2016, Magdalena Bay have consistently put significant effort into their video clips, social material, and live streams. And their new video directed by Amanda Kramer is, once again, a true visual feast.
