Chris Teckkam and his mystical sludge rock outfit Ten Benson return with a new 2-minute sucker punch single “Shut Me Up”.
Fighting the voices, Teckkam, over TB’s signature chainsaw riffs, laments, “I’m ranting, I’m raving, I’m always complaining/ Yeah.. shut me up/ I’m angry, I’m bitter, I need a babysitter/ Somebody, please shut me up/ Life is constantly, disappointing me/ I have one last plea/ Shut me up.”. Heady.
The elusive Ten Benson are immediately identifiable by their grinding low-slung sound and this new track is classic Ten Benson through and through and you can crank this cerebral rocker up here at the GTC.
