Hello, hello! It’s Finally October, the start of the spooky season… not that you would know it looking at the below books. I do hope to manage a few scarier reads this month, but for my TBR I’ve decided to focus solely on the ARC’s I plan on reading, as well as a couple of backlist re-reads I’m planning & a potential buddy read. Luckily, publishers seem to slow down on their releases towards the end of the year, so I only have 4 arc’s that I need to read this month. Two are sequels, and two are by new to me authors, but they all sound and look amazing. What are you planning to read this month? Let me know in the comments.
The Teller of Small Fortunes sounds like the perfect cozy fantasy to curl up with on a cold autumn night. The Crack at the Heart of Everything has the villain as the MC which I found intriguing. I couldn’t resist requesting Where the Library Hides after the absolute shocker of an ending in the first book. The Lotus Empire is possibly my most anticipated read of the year and I cannot wait to see what Suri has in store for us… even if I know It’s probably going to break me.
I feel like it’s been an age since The Oleander Sword was released, so I’ve decided to re-read the first two books in the series to make sure I’m up to date for The Lotus Empire.
Dini and I are continuing our buddy read of Roanhorse’s Between Earth and Sky series and are hoping to pick up Mirrored Heavens, the last book in the trilogy.
