The Liverpool artist has released her second track, “He’s My Man,” along with a music video, following the success of teases of the song on TikTok. The visuals are inspired by Tim Burton films such as Edward Scissorhands along with other gothic classics like The Addams Family.

With the release of her debut track, “Matador,” in May, Luvcat shot to fame. She has already sold out headline gigs at venues including Paper Dress Vintage in London and Kazimeer Garden in Liverpool.
This year, she also made an appearance at All Points East in Victoria Park, where her performance on August 25th was part of the schedule that included Death Cab For Cutie and The Postal Service’s back-to-back headline shows.
Meanwhile, the video’s skeletal co-star was inspired by a family story told to Luvcat: “My dad and his mates snuck into an old house to find the old lady who lived there pulling a string, which was tied to a rocking chair where her husband was sitting, back and forth. However, he’d died 6 months earlier. She just couldn’t bear to part with him.”
