ComingSoon can exclusively debut a new track from the soundtrack to Netflix’s Penelope series.
Penelope is a new Netflix series that is co-created by Mark Duplass and Mel Eslyn. Starring Megan Stott, Austin Abrams, and Krisha Fairchild, Penelope will be released on the streaming service later this week.
Penelope features music by Danny Bensi, Saunder Juriaans, and Julia Piker. ComingSoon can exclusively unveil one of the songs, “Feels Free,” which you can listen to below:
What other songs are on the Penelope soundtrack?
The soundtrack to Penelope is being released by Lakeshore Records. Lakeshore Records has previously released a number of other soundtrack albums for movies and shows such as Bridgerton, Stranger Things, Wednesday, Fallout, John Wick, Bojack Horseman, The Walking Dead, If Beale Street Could Talk, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, Whiplash, and many more.
“Feels Free” is the first song on the Penelope soundtrack. Other tracks include “Leave No Trace,” “Trainhopping,” “How To Boil Water,” “In The Rain,” “Building A Hut,” “Pretend Marriage,” “The Forest,” “Snap,” “Cougar,” Go,” “Hallucinating,” “Bear”, “Tree Thanks,” “Into The World,” “Wander,” and “He’s Gone.”
“In Penelope, you will encounter a rich tapestry of vocal explorations interwoven with lush string and synth arrangements, all inspired by the serene beauty of nature- the whisper of trees, the rustle of leaves, and the melodies of birds,” Piker said in a statement. By weaving these elements into the fabric of the compositions, we sought to honor and bring to light the beautiful, yet subtle symphony of the natural world.”

Penelope will be available to stream on Netflix tomorrow, September 24, 2024.
