The song that introduced me to Canadian 6-piece band The Free Label is actually their latest offering, “Blue Suede”. Lifted from their upcoming debut album, Songs for Sienna, the funk-pop tune is groovy and smooth. It features velvety vocals as well as tantalizing horns played by UK band Bare Jams.
Just like the group’s previous single, “Change Your Mind”, this song was released through Westwood Recordings. The upcoming album promises to be a sterling body of work.
For now, get to listen to “Blue Suede” + watch its outdoor performance below. You can also follow The Free Label on Instagram for more music updates.
