Katherine Victoria Litwack, who is professionally known as Kat Dennings was born in Bryn Mawr, Philadelphia Pennsylvania, USA. on June 13, 1986. Kat was bitten by an acting bug at a young age and decided to pursue a career in acting. She started her career by the vulnerable age of 10, acting in an ad for potato chips and then appearing in commercials and making cameos on both the small and big screens.

In 2008, when Dennings made her appearance in the House Bunny, as Mona, a pierced feminist sorority girl which later achieved a level of fame.
