Kaley Cuoco will forever remain known for playing the street-smart Penny on hit sitcom “The Big Bang Theory,” but the bubbly blonde has more than just the four guys across the hall on her resume. Late 2021 brought news that the HBO Max star is set to feature on another well-known sitcom, and she broke the exciting news via Instagram. Kaley, 36, made major headlines in November 2020 amid the release of “The Flight Attendant,” but it’s a separate show – and a well-known one – seeing the California native go back to comedy.

Kaley will be featuring on Season 11 of Larry David’s sitcom “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” and her IG post brought eye doctor action, a white coat, and a photo with her famous co-star. Cuoco shared the sneak preview, writing: “When a check off your bucket list ends up being the best experience ever,” also adding: “Thank you everyone @curbyourenthusiasm for this moment in time!” While one fan went for Larry’s signature “pretty pretty good” phrase, another gushed over the news, writing: “Finally started watching season 11 and I had no idea to expect you, and it was so cool! You had some awesome anger toward Larry!”

Cuoco has undergone major career shifts as she leaves comedy behind and moves to thriller territory, this via “The Flight Attendant,” a series produced by her Yes, Norman Productions company and now renewed for a second season. Opening up to The Hollywood Reporter on eyeing up the show, Kaley revealed:

“I’ve been with the same team of nearly 20 people — agents, managers, attorneys, publicists — since I was about 15. During the last few years of Big Bang, they were all telling me, “You might want to start thinking about the next step.” They knew I wasn’t planning, so it was one of my managers who told me to look out for an article or a book that I liked. One night, I was swiping through upcoming books on Amazon and saw The Flight Attendant. I read one sentence and called my attorney: “Have you heard of this book? And, if you have, did Reese Witherspoon get the rights?”

As to slipping into her producer shoes, the ex to Karl Cook added: “I’m amazed by anyone who gets anything made. Getting things funded is so hard. I’m less judge-y about things that I see and shows that I watch. “What do you think about this show?” Well, they made it. It’s f-cking on TV. They win.”
