We are so excited to get out and see this show this week, as we have been following Taylor White’s work for a few years and loved a recent show at L21. His new solo show, a debut in NYC for the Richmond, Virginia-based painter, As You Weren’t, kicks off the fall season for The Hole at their space in Tribeca. As White says, “I’m a huge fan of stupidity: I view the term positively, and when I see it in art, it is high praise. Like ‘That’s so stupid I love it’. I really like that sense of freedom and absurdity that is possible in the art world.”
