Joel Waggoner Joins Cast of Off-Broadway’s Titanìque September 17
The hit send-up of the blockbuster film Titanic also welcomes Barnaby Reiter to the Daryl Roth Theatre.
The hit Off-Broadway musical Titanìque, the irreverent send-up of the blockbuster film Titanic, welcomes Joel Waggoner (School of Rock, Be More Chill) to the cast at the Daryl Roth Theatre September 17.
Waggoner steps into the role of Ruth DeWitt Bukater, the same evening Barnaby Reiter (Hairspray, Grease in Australia) joins the ensemble.
Titanìque Musical Sets Dates at London’s Criterion Theatre
Waggoner and Reiter join current stars Dee Roscioli as
CĂ©line Dion, Michael Williams as Jack, Cayleigh Capaldi as Rose DeWitt Bukater, Tommy Bracco as Victor Garber,
Brandon Contreras as Cal, Lisa Howard as The Unsinkable Molly Brown,
Marcus Antonio as The Iceberg, Rae Davenport, Sara Gallo, Tess Marshall,
and Terrence Williams Jr.
Parodying the Oscar-winning film Titanic, CĂ©line Dion
commandeers a tour at the Titanic Museum and delivers her version of
what really went down between Jack and Rose with hits by the iconic
singer, including “My Heart Will Go On,” “All By Myself,” and “To Love
You More.”
Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli co-wrote the musical with production director Tye Blue. Titanìque
features music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by
Nicholas Connell, choreography by Ellenore Scott, scenic design by
Gabriel Hainer Evansohn and Grace Lauchbacher for Iron Bloom Creative
Production, costume design by Alejo Vietti, lighting design by Paige
Seber, sound design by Lawrence Schober, wig design by Tommy Kurzman,
and prop design by Eric Reynolds. Casting is by The Telsey Office’s
Rachel Hoffman, Henry Russell Bergstein, and Andrew Fern.
The work transferred from the Asylum Theatre to the Daryl Roth, where it is currently scheduled to run through May 25, 2025.
