Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck Are Allegedly ‘Not Communicating’

Sources close to the couple have confirmed that they have hit a rough patch in their marriage, which has led to the pair no longer directly communicating with each other.

A new report has also revealed that Jennifer Lopez may have caused their breakup by launching her alcoholic beverage brand, even though Ben Affleck previously struggled with alcohol abuse.

Lopez and Affleck have been estranged for the past couple of months as they continue to live on opposite sides of the coast.

The “Jenny From The Block” singer lives in the Hamptons, New York, where she has been seen shopping for plants and going on bike rides with her friends, while the “Argo” actor remains in Los Angeles.

According to Fox News, a source recently disclosed that they have not been communicating with each other as speculations about their troubled relationship intensify.

“Ben didn’t come to celebrate Jennifer’s birthday because they are done,” a source shared. “Totally done. They are not getting back together.

“They are not communicating right now,” the insider added. “If she wants to talk to his kids, she goes straight to the kids. Same with him.”

The couple, who rekindled their romance in 2021 after nearly two decades apart, are reportedly trying to be there for their children amid their troubled marriage.

Affleck has three kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while Lopez has twins, Max and Emme, with her former husband, Marc Anthony.

The “Atlas” actress has been pictured hanging out with Affleck’s kids on several occasions and is understood to have a good relationship with them. A source told Fox News that she has made it a point “to be there for Ben’s kids.”

According to insiders, the strain in their relationship has been building for some time. Both Lopez and Affleck have demanding careers that often keep them apart for extended periods.

The physical distance between Affleck and Lopez and the pressures of maintaining a high-profile relationship reportedly took a toll on their bond.

“She’s changed her life and made it more about the children. She thought she’d be doing this with Ben, and she’s not. Ben’s kids really do like JLo, and they loved seeing their dad so happy with JLo,” an insider explained.

“Part of the thing that was so amazing to both of them was coming back with children. When JLo and Ben first started dating, he decided he wanted to dedicate himself to being a better dad to his kids and blend this happy family together,” they added.

It seems like nothing is going to stop the embattled couple from ending their marriage after a source told the Daily Mail that they’ll now be pushing for divorce because a final attempt to reunite and save their relationship failed.

The “Last Duel” actor snubbed Lopez’s “Bridgerton”-themed 55th birthday celebration and instead finalized an escrow agreement to purchase a new $20.5 million “bachelor pad” mansion in the Pacific Palisades on that same day.

Sources close to Lopez described the move as a “stab to the heart,” ruining the possibility of a reunion between the pair.

According to the news outlet, multiple sources have now shared that their divorce papers “are finalized, but not yet turned in.”

“They finalized the divorce papers with her a month ago, but are waiting for the right time to drop them,” one source claimed. “At that time, they will release a joint statement that will say how they have much love for each other and how they fought to make it work, but couldn’t.”

Another said, “Honestly, in the end, they could not come to a compromise. What they had before is gone, and they have both accepted it.”

Last year, the Grammy nominee launched her alcohol brand, Delola, joining a league of other Hollywood celebrities who own similar ventures.

This business move by Lopez left many shocked due to her husband, Affleck’s past struggles with alcohol addiction. Sources close to the actor now claim that it is “one of the things that broke the camel’s back.”

Allegedly, when the brand first launched, Affleck was “devastated.” Lopez was seemingly expected to recognize that her involvement in such a business for financial gain could potentially trigger another relapse, but she appeared indifferent to the risk.

“Ben had to fight to get his life back after overcoming alcohol,” a friend of the actor said about the situation, per the Daily Mail. “Knowing how he lost everything, including the love of his family, knowing that he could possibly relapse, Jen decided to start her own spritzer line for more money, as if she did not have enough.”
