Jamie Lynn Spears has shared rare photos amid her ongoing drama with sister Britney. The 30-year-old Netflix star and Nickelodeon alum made headlines throughout 2021 as she was shaded by 40-year-old “Toxic” singer Britney, and it looks like her low-key days on social media are over. Posting for the New Year, the blonde avoided talk of her superstar sister, sharing stunning snaps that also included daughters Maddie and Ivey. Jamie Lynn was, last year, massively slammed by Britney – the pop princess claimed that her family didn’t support her when it was needed, also appearing to mock JLS for releasing a book.
Posting for her 2.2 million followers, Jamie Lynn posed all good looks and pulling funny faces while wearing a white dress. She joked about 2021 having been a terrible year, writing: “Dear 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣1️⃣,
You tried your damnedest… bless your heart ♥️
Hoping 2022 brings nothing but healing, love, peace, and happiness to you all- wishing every a safe and Happy New Year💫💥🤍.”
The photos showed Jamie Lynn wearing an angelic top and skirt look as she showcased her signature blonde locks and plump pout. Next up came a store shot of youngest daughter Ivey rocking cute glasses and a face mask, with further photos seeing teen Maddie’s face blocked out – Spears has remained cautious over showing her daughters’ faces ever since she claimed to receive death threats last year. Quick to leave a like was “Teen Mom 2” alum and fellow mom Chelsea Houska.
One week earlier, Jamie Lynn had updated with husband Jamie Watson and her girls, celebrating the holiday season and sending Christmas wishes. She told fans: “Tea with Teddy🧸Ice skating with besties⛸Church with family, and so much more
to celebrate the holiday season, but always
remembering the reason✝️
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.”
October 2021 had marked Grammy winner Britney slamming her sister on Instagram, this as JLS announced her memoir.
“Yep 👍 …. I think I got carried away yesterday when I posted four times 😳😳😳 ….Oh well … this is me thinking about it … s**t …. I will be cool one day 😂😒😬 !!!!” she wrote, adding: Psss sorry for the uncool participation 🤷♀️😢 !!!!!Psssssss also great news … I’m thinking of releasing a book 📚 next year 😜 but I’m having issues coming up with a title so maybe my fans could help !!!!”
Jamie Lynn, meanwhile, had taken to social media to announced Things I Should Have Said, writing: “I know I still have ALOT of learning to do, but I feel like finishing this book gave me closure on this ’30 year long’ chapter of my life, and hopefully helps anyone else out there who forgot their worth, lost their voice, or is trying to break an unhealthy cycle in their life.”
