With so much darkness in our world, we need songs with light. This song lets us know that we are loved by our family. It seems I can’t get enough of wanting to feel good but that is hard to come by today, a 16-year-old girl was shot dead by police-she had a knife trying to protect herself and the cop just ran up and shot her four times.  The cop would never do that to a white girl we have to change that image of blacks being criminal and dangerous. Sure there are black people who do bad things but most of the black people in America are good people. But it is really hard to be positive in America. This is really hard my heart is heavy. I need some hope. I needed some songs about love to raise my spirit. These are songs I try to listen to help heal my broken spirit. Music can heal the spirit and that is all we need, black people are targets in this country and if you listen to these songs you can see our humanity.
