The ‘Guardians’ franchise is tremendous. As an action movie fan, I would like to say that I wasn’t sure if the films could expand its audience. At its apex, I remember watching the characters being featured in Avengers: Endgame, which broke box office records and became a fan-favorite. I just didn’t see it growing beyond this, but time has shown otherwise.
Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is the final film in James Gunn’s trilogy and it has surpassed an important milestone at the box office. After a week in theaters, it has nearly reached the $350M mark: $138M domestically and $205M internationally.
