Good Times (1979) Officially Ended After This Happened. Good Times echoed greatness in its rawest form. Like many of the shows that were ruling television around the same time it came out, the show was majorly premised on comedy. However, a little twist was added by the producers of the show to decide to incorporate family values into it. So now, we have a show that is, for starters, filled with black comics, with extensive years of individual success to their belts, coupled with them being one happy family; it was almost like the show couldn’t be more perfect.
