I’m having a 4-DAY weekend (YAY ME!!) except it wasn’t “yay!” yesterday due to the hurricane that came our way. Tons of flooding, boats in the STREET!!!! But I’m okay and so is my house. I’m truly starting to love (and appreciate) the little piece of property we’ve chosen for ourselves. What a blessing. Beautiful woods behind me that will not be taken down, deer everywhere, a man-made – albeit super pretty – lake-ish pond bordering our property, a fenced yard for my dogs, and no flooding – at least as of yet.
Yep, we did experience the loss of a big portion of our roof a few hurricanes ago, but in the grand scheme of things, so far, so safe. ❤️
