As we pause to remember the somber 19th anniversary of 9/11; the day New York City and our country changed forever when the twin towers were shaken up by terrorists, the truth is finally revealed. It wasn’t planes that hit the buildings, but explosives inside the building on one of the top floors that took innocent lives; an inside job perpetrated by the Bush crime family, and in the era when George W. Bush was president. The incident was over the bill that former President Clinton reluctantly signed into law, but kept quiet about known as the National Economic Security and Reformation Act (NESARA). It was supposed to be announced on September 11, 2001, but was kept on a gag order for decades until President Trump stepped in. Now, it’s about to come to fruition with Trump’s own version known as Trumpsara once he’s re-elected. Trump has dropped hints about it at his press conferences.
In the film, World Trade Center, (runtime 2 hours 9 minutes) Academy-Award winner Nicolas Cage stars as New York Port Authority officer Sgt. John McLoughlin who became trapped in the rubble of the remains of the World Trade Center; known as the twin towers. He helped people escape during the terror attacks in New York City on September 11, 2001. It’s a true story based on actual events. The film is now streaming on Netflix and VOD as well as Amazon Prime Video; where it received four and a half stars. The film also stars Michael Pena as Officer Will Jimeno.
Cage is in rare form and aces his role as the courageous Sgt. McLoughlin perfectly. He was meant to be in this film.
The film was directed by Oliver Stone, and the screenplay was written by Andrea Berloff. It grossed $163.2 million at the box office and was released on August 9, 2006.
Many lives perished on that fateful day; it appeared to be the war zone of the decade. Several first responders succumbed to saving lives and unfortunately risked their own in an effort to save others. Fast-forward to 2020 in the COVID-19 era, first responders and people who were at Ground Zero; have suffered illnesses linked to toxins caused by the terror attacks and many people have died.
Here is the official trailer of World Trade Center on YouTube.
I highly recommend viewing it on the anniversary of the terror attacks every year; as a reminder that “We Will Never Forget!”
