Unexpected sparks fly and a back seat gets put to good use when a small-town sweetheart falls head-first for her ride-share driver.
I’m supposed to be dating. Doing my level best to find The One™
While I try to give all the guys on my dating app a fighting chance, I might accidentally be falling in love with my ride-share driver instead.
Between disaster first dates and getting stood up and ghosted, I’ve become friends with one of the only car service drivers in my tiny hometown of Cozy Creek, Colorado.
Maybe I’m looking forward to my dating fails because it means more time with Noah, the guy I can’t stop thinking about. While guarded and cautious, he draws me in with his dry humor and reluctant smiles. But for some reason, Noah’s presence in town is a mystery–a secret he isn’t ready to tell.
You’re not supposed to fall in love with the guy driving you to your potential happily ever after. But, unfortunately, nobody told my heart that.
Fall Me Maybe is part of the Cozy Creek Collection of small-town standalones. It is a steamy, full-length romantic comedy.
Friends didn’t stare at their friends’ tongues. Pretty sure that was a rule somewhere.
Can you feel it? Autumn is in the air and Laney Hatcher has brought her unique flair to The Cozy Creek Collection with her contemporary romance, Fall Me Maybe. Not only does Fall Me Maybe contain a premise that I have yet to read in romance, it also features some of my favorite tropes: grumpy sunshine, a local and a new person in town, forbidden romance, friends to lovers, pining (so much pining), all the flirting, and most importantly: idiots in love, because who doesn’t love reading a romance that makes you want to smash their faces together and just kiss already?
His window was down, and he had one toned forearm resting on the doorframe. “Get in Lu-ser. We’re going to the airport.”
While I am tardy in getting my review posted, I can assure you that my delay has nothing to do with my love of Laney Hatcher or this addicting and fun romance and has everything to do with back-to-school shenanigans. Luanne is a heroine whom everyone knows around town and yet is completely unlucky in love. Not only is she continually disappointed by her love life, she also has a family situation that makes me want to take revenge by stealing batteries from remotes and dumping out all her stepsister’s favorite nail polishes. There is a bright side, Luanne finds a friend in her Huber driver, Noah.
I absolutely adore how Luanne and Noah’s relationship in Fall Me Maybe evolves from acquaintances to friends, to friends who pine for the other, to idiots who want each other but don’t say anything to *finally* getting their acts together. Laney Hatcher won my heart over with her historical romances, but she puts her own special twist to small town romance and I am absolutely addicted to anything she writes.
I was the poster boy for temporary. This girl had hometown sweetheart written all over her. But something about her kept sneaking past my defenses.

So go grab a cozy throw, get your coffee prepped and dive into this amazing new collection! Fall Me Maybe is sure to make you laugh, give you all the feels, and swoon over these adorable characters!
