Affordable Art Fair NYC returns for its 36th edition this September 25–29 with 77 galleries from New York, across the US, and around the world. Held at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea, visitors will find thousands of one-of-a-kind artworks all priced from $100 to $12,000.
The goal of Affordable Art Fair is to make the art world approachable to everyone by giving visitors confidence in their own taste. Whether you know exactly what you’re looking for or you’re coming in with just a vague idea, the fair will help guide you to that perfect piece.
This fall, visitors can experience the fair in several ways, with unique programs happening each day. The fair kicks off on Wednesday, September 25, with its Private View, an evening intended for the most intentional collectors who want the first chance at the artworks exhibited. On Thursday evening, the donation-for-entry event in partnership with Materials for the Arts returns, where visitors will be granted entry in exchange for new or slightly used art supplies that will be donated to NYC public schools. Friday night, the energy ramps up with Art After Dark, where visitors can participate in an interactive installation, have a drink, and enjoy some tasty treats. On Saturday, learn about the artworks directly from the artists through the Artist Is In program. Finally, the whole family is invited on Sunday morning to enjoy some snacks, games, and crafts during Stroller Hours.
With so many ways to experience this fall edition of Affordable Art Fair, there’s truly something for every kind of art lover.
