Dan Levy and dad Eugene Levy are set as co-hosts of the 2024 Emmys, and in the first ABC promo, the duo joke about eyebrows.
“We’re hosting the Emmys, and this year, they’re going highbrow,” Eugene Levy says in the clip.
Dan Levy interjects and corrects his father, “No, they said eyebrow. They want you to make bad jokes about your eyebrows, which you’re not doing.”
Eugene Levy adds, “Why don’t they go through proper channels? My brows have their own agent.”
The father-son duo and Schitt’s Creek co-stars will take the stage as hosts of the 2024 Emmys, which will air live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. CT/PT.

The Levys were confirmed as co-hosts in August and recalled winning their first Emmys during the pandemic-impacted show in 2020.

“For two Canadians who won our Emmys in a literal quarantine tent, the idea of being asked to host this year in an actual theater was incentive enough,” they said in a statement last month. “We’re thrilled to be able to raise a glass to this extraordinary season of television and can’t wait to spend the evening with you all on Sept. 15.”

In 2020, both Levys earned acting nods, for Lead Actor (Eugene) and Supporting Actor (Dan), and both also shared in Schitt’s Creek’s Outstanding Comedy Series victory. Additionally, Dan Levy won for writing (solo) and directing (shared), bringing his Emmy haul to a record-tying four.
