If you’re in Sin City today and have plans to attend tonight’s Deicide show, I’ve got some highly unfortunate news: the Florida death metal legends won’t be there. Earlier this morning, the band announced that their show at Backstage Bar & Billiards was canceled because someone or a group of individuals involved with the band are sick.
Details are sparse, nor do we know what this means for the other three bands currently on the ‘Banished By Sin’ North American Tour, as neither Krisiun, Inferi, nor Cloak have indicated what their plans are. Deicide’s statement is as follows:
“Due to an unforeseen illness we have to cancel las Vegas, we deeply regret having to do so and extend our deepest apologies to the fans, we’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.”
The tour started back on September 5, but the entire run is coming up on their final 10 days, with remaining stops in some key cities like Denver, Dallas, and New Orleans before coming to an end in Tampa, Florida.
If you’d like to see Deicide live as long as they’re able to beat whatever’s caused tonight’s cancelation, you should check out the list of dates below to see if they’ll be hitting a venue near you.
