Very sad and suddenly shocking news today. Famous rock star and iconic musician Marvin Lee Aday; better known to his fans as professional stage name Meat Loaf has died of Covid at the age of 74-years-old.

His long-time songwriting partner; Jim Steinman who also passed away last year in 2021 composed many of Meat Loaf’s classic songs, I Would Do Anything For Love, Paradise By the Dashboard Light, and is also known for writing the monster albums, Bat Out of Hell I&II including the title song Bat Out of Hell.

Meat Loaf starred alongside actor Tim Curry as the character Frank ‘n’ Furter in the famous avant-garde gothic Halloween film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show which was released on September 26, 1975  and was a large part in pop culture in that 70s era and still is; featuring the signature film hit, Time Warp and also starring Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick as sweethearts Brad and Janet who encounter a haunted house filled with creepy characters.

According to the news source, TMZ Meat Loaf’s manager Michael Greene; confirmed that the legendary rock icon died on Thursday night. TMZ’s sources also told the outlet that he was supposed to attend a business dinner earlier this week for a show he’s working on — “I’d Do Anything for Love” — but the dinner was canceled because he became seriously ill with COVID. Sources tell us that his condition quickly became critical.
