Boosie Badazz is calling for some extreme measures in the aftermath of the deadly school shooting in Georgia this week.
On Wednesday (September 4), Apalachee High School student Colt Gray allegedly entered the school with an AR-style rifle and killed two 14-year-old students and two teachers. Nine others were injured but are expected to make a full recovery.
Taking to X the following day, Boosie called for a law to put armed snipers in every school to protect the children.
“#Anotherschoolshooting The next president needs to make a law that puts four armed snipers in every school in this country to protect our children. Every year this country shreds billions of dollars at the end of the year and throws it away. Why can’t some of that money be spent to protect our children? We protect sports, entertainment venues, casinos, federal buildings, etc.”
He continued: “We protect anything that brings money, but we can’t protect our own flesh and blood. #thechildren Calling my baby mamas, ‘I’m thinking home school.’”

Meanwhile, Boosie Badazz has his own gun issues and has requested a pardon from the next president, regardless of who wins the election in November — Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Donald Trump.
In a post to X last week, he wrote: “My case got dismissed for a ruling that was made in the 9th Circuit Court. Two weeks later, the ruling gets vacated. SMH. As soon as I celebrate, the law is vacated. GTFOH. I got some powerful people who hate me with every bone in their body.
“I was sent to prison for 10 years for 3rd marijuana offense, for being a user. LOL, no rehab, no probation, sent straight to prison. At this point, I need a pardon from whoever wins. @VP @realDonaldTrump.”
It was back in July that Boosie accused a prosecutor of being racist after being re-indicted in a San Diego gun case — which is the case he’s hoping to be pardoned from.
The case against Boosie had been dismissed but less than two weeks later, he again faced the same charge of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon in interstate commerce.
The Baton Rouge native was also hit with an additional charge of knowingly possessing a firearm while dealing with abuse of a controlled substance.
The indictment showed that prosecutors are doubling down on the allegations against Boosie and seek to seize “all firearms and ammunition involved in the commission of the offenses.”
The 41-year-old rapper faces the potential of up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
