Kühlhaus Berlin is a cultural, unique example of pre-war industrial architecture, perfect for an event location. A dynamic place with special art charged energy.. It is a place that moves with the heartbeat of the city. As a space it offers unique and extraordinary rooms on a space of more than five thousand square meters. The house is suitable for a vast selection of art events, fairs, conventions, conferences and exhibitions, concerts etc…Kühlhaus Berlin is located at the junction of the districts of Schöneberg and Kreuzberg, with Mitte only a stone’s throw away, easily accessible for car and public transport, with S- and U-Bahn stations as well as bus stops within walking distance. The spaces are calm, quiet and inspiring. Area Kühlhaus Berlin has been changing and evolving constantly since the nineties, when it was first established as an event space and art gallery and since then has become a listed building. Even today, the listed building has a red brick façade and the plain concrete interior with steel beams. After German unification, the Kühlhaus was long in danger of being demolished. Citizens of Berlin organized its restoration. They intentionally retained the unfinished character of a construction site in order to provide as much open space as possible for new creative impulses. The place offers other talented and emerging talents a platform in gallery. Everything is allowed, at least as far as form of expression and chosen materials are concerned, as long as the artwork is authentic.
