The drastic look follows the recent claim that Ben Affleck “pulled the plug” on his marriage to Jennifer Lopez after getting tired of her “obsession with fame,” among other red flags.

According to the Daily Mail, Affleck was also without his wedding ring, a detail that has been observed multiple times in the weeks since rumors about the breakdown of his marriage to Lopez began circulating.

The look has since gone viral on social media, with some netizens on X (formerly Twitter) branding it a “midlife crisis,” and other’s claiming the actor doesn’t look great with haircut.

Prior to Affleck being spotted with an edgy makeover, reports emerged that he was the one who “pulled the plug” on his marriage to Lopez.

According to a close source, Affleck had initially tried to accommodate Lopez’s need for publicity despite it contradicting his preferred style of being under the radar.

However, at some point, Lopez’s “obsession with fame became too much” for him, and he could no longer deal with all the drama that it brought into his life.
