In 2024’s biggest surprise of the year, Barry Keoghan confirms that his favorite song from his girlfriend Sabrina Carpenter’s new album Short N’ Sweet is… “Bed Chem.” In other news, water from the bathtub is wet (and slurped.) On Instagram Stories, Keoghan wrote on August 29, “BED CHEM my fave just saying m’ darlin” before adding a link to stream Carpenter’s album. Keoghan is a little late to the party— the album came out last week— so maybe his primary motive is to help get some extra streams before the Billboard charts come out next week. The lyrics of the song heavily allude to their relationship, like when they met at the Givenchy fashion show last year (“I was in a sheer dress the day that we met”) and Keoghan’s role in Saltburn (“Who’s the cute guy with the wide, blue eyes and the big bad mm.”) Guess Keoghan must’ve graduated on from “Please Please Please.”
