Ballethnic Dance Company is hiring dancers for its 2022/2023 season that begins in mid September. The candidates are signing contracts for 36 weeks at Ballethnic Academy of Dance as choreographers on the Ballethnic Youth Ensemble, which is company’s pre-professional performing group. Accommodation for all candidates will be available at the Ballethnic Artist’s Residence. It is located on the Ballethnic Campus walking distance from the studios. The first performances that candidates will work on, will take place in October and it will consist potential traveling to Toronto, Canada in January. Performances will occur at the Spring with the potential for additional work weeks throughout the Summer. Dancers must have solid ballet technique. Ballet has embraced many cultures and traditions, and evolved. Across the globe, many companies, techniques and methods have been and are and will be established with differences in characteristics and style. And that’s the beauty of it. The company is basically looking for “enthusiastic personality in exploring and expanding the ballet genre”.
