Stage makeup is often an exaggerated and bolder form of makeup that is meant to stand out even under the harsh stage lights. Recently, aespa‘s Winter posted close-up photos that show what her makeup looks like in real life.
She left fans stunned when she uploaded selfies in her stage makeup that showcased the extent to her overlined lips.
Her lipstick and gloss was placed half way up her philtrum.
At a greater distance, the makeup seemed better…
…and on stage, the look was flawless!
It goes to show that stage makeup may appear questionable and extremely dramatic up close — but it appears perfect on stage!
“She looks more naturally pretty without the overlined lip,” one netizen writes, sharing a photo of her typical “in-person” makeup.
However, she doesn’t always sport the trend on stage — and some thinks she looks best with this more natural style.
Regardless of which makeup style she’s rocking, Winter always looks stunning!
