Art on Paper 2024 will mark the return of Flat Files, spotlighting fine art printmakers and publishers from around the world, as well as BOOKSMART FAIR, the unique artists’ book fair built in collaboration with the Center for Book Arts (CBA). CBA has invited 22 institutions to take part in this year’s edition, each bringing a curated selection of artists’ books that engage the form in a myriad of ways — ranging from highly tactile and physical objects to conceptual works. A series of artist talks and educational panels will accompany the book fair throughout the weekend, engaging with art collectors and book lovers alike.
