The Big Tiny Show
The District Gallery in Knoxville, Tennessee seeks entries for a national juried exhibition of small 2D works, November 22, 2024 – January 4, 2025. Cash awards will be given, as well as (1) six-month gallery contract. Artists aged 18+, living in the U.S., may submit works of any subject matter, media, or expression. Works must be 12×12 or smaller (including frame), original in concept, and completed within the last 12 months. Both framed and unframed works accepted. Unframed canvases must have at least a 1½” thick gallery wrap with finished painted edges. No free-standing sculpture. Works must be for sale and may not have been exhibited in any previous show in Knoxville or its surrounding counties. $30 entry fee. Deadline: October 5, 2024. More info. Baytown Sculpture Trail 2025
The Historic Downtown Baytown Arts, Culture, and Entertainment District seeks entries for their annual outdoor sculptures display, April 12, 2025 to March 31, 2026 in Baytown, Texas. $1500 acceptance honorarium; $1000 Best of Show; $2000 People’s Choice Award. Up to 25 works will be juried into the show. All genre of sculpture accepted. This is a public art exhibition that is exposed to the elements for one year so all work must be “family friendly” and robust enough to resist the Southeast Texas climate. 16th Annual International Drawing Discourse Exhibition
The University of North Carolina Asheville invites artists to submit entries to a juried international exhibition of contemporary drawing, January 17 – February 14, 2025 at the Owen Hall S. Tucker Cooke Gallery in Asheville, NC. $2,000 in cash prizes plus a purchase award. Juror: Laurie Lipton. The exhibition will demonstrate the continued significance of drawing through conventional and innovative methods. Open to all artists 18 years of age or older. All work must be original, and cannot have been exhibited at UNC Asheville before.
