Black women are doing it in R& B music it is a real pleasure to watch the new school take over. It has influence from the old school. This is grown and sexy music without being nasty. It takes talent to do this today. Music and lyrics matter. When I think of women in music I think of Anita Baker, Chaka Khan, and Erykah Badu. The new songs are really good but I love that she has a song style and she stays in her pocket. She is a throwback in a good way. She is black and beautiful. This is sexy to the bone, All the songs are from the heart. She is a strong songwriter this makes my heart sing. I was brought up with real music and I can’t listen to bad music, it makes my stomach feel not so good. She checks all the boxes. Her style is classic so she remains timeless. The new song and video is an A+++
