Grace feels like people expect her to sing like Aretha, “but I am my own artist.”

Taylor’s original song “We Need More” is about the deaths of Black people like Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor. Everyone is moved to tears during his performance on the piano, and Lionel Richie says it’s disgusting that Taylor’s song is relevant in 2022.
Tyler walks into the judge’s room, all smiles and confidence. You would never guess the tragedy he and his family recently experienced after an 18 -wheeler struck and killed his sister and nephew. His nephew Noah had barely turned one and started walking. Tyler has been his family’s rock. Music has always been his greatest comfort and he hopes that this experience can help his family move forward. He used to sing this song to his nephew and couldn’t think of a better song for today’s audition.
