In the first month of 2022, Adele will launch a three-month residency at Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.
“Weekends With Adele” will be live performances on Saturdays and Sundays at Caesar’s Colosseum from Jan. 21-April 16.
Fans recently saw Adele perform on television in the film Adele One Night Only, which broadcasted on CBS, Nov. 14 and is still available for streaming on Paramount+. The performance was recorded at Los Angeles’ Griffith Observatory last October.
The Vegas shows will feature much of Adele’s new songs from her fourth studio album 30, and the biggest hits from her previous works as well.
Many of her fans were appreciative of the new album, as she opens up emotionally on the new record more so than any of her previous recordings. These songs are expected to be a spectacle live on stage.
“We expect the demand for tickets to see Adele to be overwhelming,” Ticketmaster published on its website. The company is making them available only to people who register in the Verified Fan program and receive a unique code Monday before presale starts at 10 a.m. Pacific the next day, Dec. 7.
Verified Fan registration is open now through 11:59 p.m. Pacific on Thursday on the Ticketmaster website’s Adele page; not all who register will receive a code.
“Due to the limited quantity of tickets available, if demand for tickets from Verified Fans exceeds supply, there will not be a public on-sale,” said a statement issued Tuesday by the concert promoters. Demand is expected to exceed supply.
Caesars’ The Colosseum seats 4,100 visitors. Adele is playing only 12 shows. As of today no further tour plans have been made public.
