If you are an artist, out there, surrounded by nature, and have a soft spot for animals and wildlife, it is the perfect environment to contemplate. For all artists and naturalists who want to master their ability to depict a wide range of wildlife, even with a basic animal structure and characteristics, and with certain details examining and exploring detailed animal studies. And, for artists with a such “feeling” that work at a certain level can help a wild animals preserve on an international level, as an illustration building a pose or the most important part of the drawing, in order to define the shape of the body and change perception in people about the importance of wild animals out there, here is the link:

David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation from the UK supports wildlife artists. Wildlife Artist of the Year is an internationally renowned art competition and exhibition and it is the competition that welcomes entries from hundreds of talented artists worldwide to celebrate a wildlife art. Shortlisted entries are invited to exhibit and sell their artworks at the annual Wildlife Artist of the Year exhibition. 50% of the proceeds from all sales support David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) and their ground-based conservation partners in order to preserve wild animal resorts in Africa and Asia.

The exhibition showcases different techniques and mediums from recycled plastic sculptures, to intricate pencil drawings. Entries for Wildlife Artist of the Year 2021 started in September 2020 and closes on 15 February 2021. The work shortlisted will be exhibited in Mall Galleries in London and the entry fee is 25 pounds per entry.

• The First Prize: £10,000 (plus £7,000 portrait commission)
• Runner Up: £1,000 (plus £7,000 portrait commission)
• Category Winners: £500 (Earth’s Wild Beauty, Animal Behaviour, Into the Blue, Urban Wildlife, Vanishing Fast, Wings)
