It’s time for this week’s WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly feature
hosted by Sam @Â Taking on a World of Words.
Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. So, let’s get to it!
The three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What have you finished reading?
What will you read next?
What am I currently reading?
I’m about half way through How to Age Disgracefully by Clare Pooley which has been great fun! And I’ve just started The Beforelife of Eliza Valentine by Laura Pearson on Kindle ahead of my blogtour spot on Saturday. I’ve realised that I won’t have much time to read this weekend as it’s the Edinburgh Women’s Fiction Festival on Friday and Saturday and I’ll be there for all the events!
What have I finished reading?
I had a good reading week. I finished The Glassmaker by Tracy Chevalier which I loved. Having not really connected with the previous two audiobooks I’d started, I raced through Forever, Interrupted by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I’ve been away for a few days and read The Black Loch by Peter May while I was away. Reviews for all of these to follow.
What will I read next?
There are three other books on my to-be-read list for September I’d like to get to but I’m not sure I’ll have time for them all: Friends of Dorothy by Sandi Toksvig, Living is a Problem by Doug Johnstone and The Spark by Holly Miller. I also picked up a couple of books from the library by authors who are appearing at Portobello Book Festival the first weekend in October. I might squeeze in The Old Haunts by Allan Radcliffe as it’s quite a slim volume but we’ll see.
So that’s WWW Wednesday complete. Have you read any of these books? Do any catch your fancy? Let me know in the comments and if you take part yourself, pop a link to your post in the comments too. Happy reading everyone!
