NYC-based duo Freecell have shared their latest emotively-charged electronica journey via Seb Wildblood’s All My Friends label, ‘Who Bribed My Guide’.
The release is accompanied by an intricately-arranged remix from labelhead Wildblood – landing on September 24 – building from its original ballad-style piano and vocal approach into a percussive-oriented affair, boosted by distorted synths and a soaring vocal topline.

Throughout each edition, themes of existential certainty and the reliability of guidance are explored, as Freecell succinctly write that “the meaning of the title relates to the integrity of guidance amidst existential certainty”.
“When Freecell sent me the original of this track I instantly fell in love with it,” adds Wildblood. “Music that blurs the line between several genres is something that really captures my attention.
“The sound design was especially striking to me, and that’s something I tried to incorporate within this version alongside leaning into a more warped, rolling and bubbling soundscape.”
