Britney Spears managed to get half of Instagram in a tizzy by talking about her baby “getting bigger” while in a stunning printed minidress earlier this year. The 40-year-old pop icon, already a mother of two to sons Jayden and Sean, has made it no secret that she wants a third child with husband-to-be Sam Asghari, but she managed to get fans thinking baby #3 is already on the way as she updated her Instagram with a home snap.
Posting amid her newfound freedom as her 13-year conservatorship ends, the “Toxic” singer stunned fans while showing off her famous legs in a bright and floaty dress, but it was the caption making her followers do a double-take. Spears had, in 2021, confirmed she wants a “baby” with Asghari as she addressed a Los Angeles court judge amid claims her conservatorship had made her keep in an IUD.
The share, uploaded for the singer’s 40 million followers, showed her posing confidently from a stone terrace at her L.A. mansion. Britney modeled a low-cut and criss-cross heart-print dress in black and red, with the thigh-skimming number also coming low-cut. The blonde wore her hair all messy and down, discreet necklace jewelry, plus her signature dark eyeliner.
Taking to her caption, the princess of pop wrote: “My baby is getting bigger 
… I will just say it just like when my boys got bigger … IT LITERALLY SUCKS. They dont need me anymore … I’ve cried oceans 
for my boys and I’m not lying !!!! Hopefully one day I can show recent pics of us but in the meantime, I respect their wishes 
!!!! Oh well … but Sawyer … yes, he’s bigger but he will always need me and I like that 
.” Of course, Britney was clearly referencing her sons, shared with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Spears is estimated to have only 30% custody of her sons.
Quick to leave heart emoji was socialite Paris Hilton, however others assumed the post was announcing a pregnancy. “I thought this was a pregnancy announcement,” one fan wrote, with over 5,000 others agreeing. “Almost thought this was a pregnancy announcement,” another user replied. The post itself has clocked over 700,000 likes.
Spears continues to make headlines for being engaged to Asghari, whom she’s been dating since 2016. A Heat source reports: “Everything is a joy, even being able to drive her own car whenever she wants! The other night, Brit and Sam were able to go out for dinner without having to get special permission – and there was no spending limit! Britney loved it and will be going out a lot more now that she’s free. She can’t wait to see some old friends, treat herself to evenings out with Sam, catch a movie with her boys – all those basic things she wasn’t allowed to do for so long.”
