Donald Glover has postponed the rest of his New Word North American tour as Childish Gambino to address unspecified health concerns. The trek was scheduled to visit Austin tomorrow (Sept. 10) and conclude Oct. 3 in Chicago, although a Saturday show in Houston had already been scrapped “due to illness.”
Dates in Europe in November and New Zealand and Australia are still listed on Childish Gambino’s website at the moment.

“Hey everyone,” Glover wrote on social media. “Unfortunately I have to postpone the rest of the North American tour to focus on my physical health for a few weeks. Hold onto your tickets. ALL tickets will be honored for the upcoming dates in North America when they are rescheduled. Thanks for the privacy. Thanks for the support. Thanks for the love.”
The New World tour began Aug. 11 in Oklahoma City and has drawn strong reviews for its stage design and use of technology. It comes on the heels of what Glover says will be the final Childish Gambino album, Bando Stone and the New World, as well as an upcoming film of the same name.
